Nah, I still think it still a god awful ship. The citadel can be hit from the orbit. Your armor isn’t well made to take hits. Your gun reload is basically worse Myoko. The shells are great and all but overall performance of the ship is screamed “Please kill me”. I love to shoot Pepsicola as any BBs or CAs. Because if you able to land the hits, it will literally combusts. The only thing I like about Pepsicola are the guns. But again, Aoba can do the same thing and get away with 12 secs reload. Heck, go a bit higher you have Myoko. A ship that literally an improvement Pepsicola.

Poebeda rockets are nasty. I have smashed an Essex in Nakimov for over 30k before.

Shima in WOWs: Help, enemies DDs are killing me Shima in Azur Lane: Ayanami, Yuudachi, let’s make a wall of PAIN. Yes, Shima in AL are totally different beast compare to Gun Boats DDs in AL. Shima is a torpedo spammer and she is very good at doing that. Which in WOWs you can have the torpedo reload booster back on Shima, even if it trades with smoke. It would be funny 30 Torps wall. But dodging shima torps are less annoying than dodging CV or Subs torps.

Yamato is worst performance if we base on Win rate........yes but if we base on Avg. Exp. Schlieffen GK and Pruessen will be the worst instead.

WG is disrespectful to anything that's not a completely made up Russian blue water super fleet.

How WG could NOT give Johnston a zombie heal and a powerful repair is beyond me. Those are as historically accurate as mechanics can get, it's a no-brainer. Johnston should have been balanced around those charateristics. Total miss by WG.

As a DD main, I´ve been looking forward to the Johnston coming into the game. But as I see it right now, it´s not a hard pass, but ¨lets hope they buff it pass.¨ I would be more inclined to get it if it had the torp reload of a Fletcher or a Gearing. The problem is that the gimmick isn´t all that great and the nerf to the torpedos is too severe for said gimmick IMO. It seems to me like they didn´t want the Johnston to match the SAP performance of the Forrest Sherman and the torp performance of the Gearing at Tier 9. End result, like you well said in the video, they made a ¨meh¨ DD.

The ship is not a Powerful. But, what makes her into a Powerful ship was her captain and crews!

They should’ve made it a Tier 10. We have fletchers at T9 and T8, may as well put a really good one at T10.

Burst fire works when you hit your target, I have the same issue at times lol

The burst fire adds about 15-20% to DPM. This took a lot longer to make than I initially expected. I am quite unsatisfied with my performance in the ship and I couldn't entirely put my thumb on whether it was the ship or myself.

I get the wobbling shaking mouse from time to time, I notice it alot when I am min the game down and back up, it becomes frustrating and I usually have to restart my game, it must be a graphical problem...

This ship would be a lot better if they gave her hidden bow and stern plates like they did for the Russian bullshit ships. So she does not get constantly citadeled by overmatch shells.

If you like TBs, you should give Chkalov a try. While the arming distance is quite far and needs practice but the tight spread and rocket assisted start makes her deal immense torp dmg. Her skip bombers and DBs are also quite potent, unlike Kagas rockets.
